Established in 1997 and located in Farringdon, only a stone’s throw from London’s famous jewellery quarter, Hatton Garden, we specialise in creating and repairing unique, luxurious jewellery both by hand and using the latest 3d technology. In addition to crafting gorgeous new pieces in our workshop in Farringdon, we also take great pleasure in repairing and repurposing old and vintage jewellery to give it a new lease of life. Practically anything can be repaired by our master goldsmiths and highly skilled craftsmen who have many years of experience working for high-end jewellery companies. In the rare cases where something cannot be repaired, we are usually able to provide a quote for remaking your special piece.

We work in all precious metals, namely silver, gold, and platinum. We can do anything from a straightforward ring resizing to fully restoring or altering the most priceless jewellery. We can supply natural diamonds, lab-grown diamonds and other precious stones. We also offer pearl and bead re-stringing. Our services include:

Heirloom Redesigning Services

We at Valle Designs & Co. are capable of melting down your personal jewellery and creating a new piece out of it. This will guarantee that your jewellery is being worn and loved rather than being left unused in a drawer! This is also a beautiful method to update vintage jewellery and make sure you have a keepsake that you can wear for a lifetime. Examples include vintage wedding bands which are melted down and combined with brand-new rings or dated gold pendants which can be replaced with new versions. Where the jewellery is not suited to having the metal reused, usually due to solder being present, we can give a competitive quote to scrap it and/or give a credit towards a new piece designed to your personal taste.

Old jewellery can have its stones unset and re-set into fresh patterns. Many of our customers bring in multiple pieces with various stones, which they then reset into more contemporary rings, earrings, or necklace pendants. If you have any original ideas, we would be pleased to assist you in realising them. Our skilled goldsmiths can offer you advice on what is and isn’t practical in terms of design, and we can assist you in creating entirely new pieces from your old jewellery.

Our goldsmiths are pleased to work with silver jewellery as well as platinum, palladium, 18ct or 9ct white, yellow, or rose gold. We use Lasers for our Repair Jobs

In our jewellery workshop in Farringdon, next to Hatton Garden, we have “state-of-the-art” laser precision welding technology. We can join silver, platinum, palladium, titanium and gold of any carat including 9ct, 14ct, 18ct and 22ct. Additionally, it doesn’t matter if it’s yellow gold, white gold or rose gold, it can still be fused together. The intense heat produced by the laser is ideal for small repairs without running the danger of causing more harm to priceless antique jewels and rings from the heat of a soldering flame.

Because of this new technology, we can quickly and safely carry out repairs and ring resizing in our London jewellery workshop in London. It is perfect for ordinary ring repairs as well as broken claws.
