These terms and conditions serve as an agreement between you and Valle Designs & Co. and regulate how you use any services or make purchases from the company. Valle Designs & Co. maintains the right, at its sole discretion, to alter or amend any of these Terms and Conditions, as well as any policy or guideline on this website. Any alterations or modifications will take effect as soon as they are posted on this website. Once updates or modifications are posted on this site, your continuing use of it will be interpreted as your acceptance of those changes or modifications. To ensure that you are aware of the terms and conditions that govern your use of this website, you should periodically review these Terms and Conditions as well as any other applicable policies. You must leave this site immediately if you disagree with the updated terms.
Damaged or Defective Products
When your order is delivered or collected, you should check it for damage or flaws and notify us as soon as possible if an issue is found. Customers have 30 days from the day their item is collected from The Goldsmiths’ Centre, 42 Britton Street, London EC1M 5AD or received by post to notify us of any issues. We will always put right any issues that are our fault. Please note that any bespoke items are non-refundable but we will always rectify any problems with bespoke goods once they are brought to our attention. Please email contact@valledesigns.com with the details. When sending jewellery in the post, we advise using an insured service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery.
For manufacturing errors, Valle Designs & Co. offers a one-year warranty on all of our products. If you want to return an item to us for repair, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. Please be aware that any things returned to us are delivered at the owner’s expense and risk, and that this guarantee does not cover items that break from use or wear and tear, or that already have flaws on items that we have not created.
Regular maintenance is expected of the jewellery owner, who is obligated to take all necessary precautions to preserve its integrity. For any servicing inquiries, please email contact@valledesings.com.
Resizing
We can measure finger sizes at our workshop. Alternatively, if the customer gives us their own finger size then we will alter their ring to this finger size. Where the customer gives us their own size, as long as the ring has been adjusted correctly to this size, we do not take responsibility for a ring not fitting. Customers should bear in mind that wider rings may need a larger finger size than a standard wedding band.
Product Availability And Pricing
Occasionally, typographical or technical problems may cause data, including pricing, to be presented incorrectly on our website. Even though we take every precaution to prevent them, mistakes can nevertheless happen. We will not honour incorrect or erroneous prices, and we reserve the right to fix any and all problems as they happen. We reserve the right to alter our prices at any time.
Accidental Damage
Every item left with us is done so at the owner’s risk and liability, and although every effort will be made to reduce the risk of harm to any item while it is in our care, we cannot be held accountable for any damage caused to an item while it is in our possession or for consequential losses. If something in our care is damaged—which is extremely unlikely—we will do everything within our power to fix the problem. However, it is highly advised that you have your item insured against theft, loss, and damage of any kind. TH March can provide jewellery insurance. Policy On Conflict Diamonds
At Valle Designs & Co., we only buy diamonds from the biggest, most reputable suppliers who uphold and enforce the international framework known as the Kimberley Process, which regulates the diamond trade to guarantee that the stones come from conflict-free sources.
Certification
If required, we can provide GIA certified diamonds and certified lab-grown diamonds. Larger stones will typically always be certified by an external certification agency.
Payment Methods
We usually accept payment by bank transfer, although we can also accept credit cards if requested.
Customs, Duties And Taxes
VAT at 20% will be charged on every order to be delivered within the UK or collected from our workshop. If you are located overseas and need us to send your jewellery to an overseas address, we will not charge UK VAT of 20%. On arrival, the destination country’s customs office may levy local VAT, taxes, import tariffs, customs fees, and other costs on your overseas order. The recipient is liable for these additional costs associated with customs clearance.
Delivery Insurance
Every shipping to our clients is insured so there is never a risk involved in the shipping of your item. Your order may need to be signed for additional security when it is delivered. Our shipment insurance stops covering an item once it is signed for, at which point ownership instantly passes to the buyer or consignee.
When sending us jewellery items, we recommend that you use an insured postal service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery.
